Content Capture | Art Directing at a FIFA World Cup Match
Photographers: Max Molina | Mikey Reeves | Trey Madara
The Challenge: Provide clear art direction to freelance photographers and videographers on-site at a FIFA World Cup match.
Ennis’ Solution: As assistant art director, he directed shooters on-site at an elimination match in Philadelphia. He ensured that images from the shotlist were captured, and he generated new ideas for shots on-the-fly. He also provided guidance and feedback to the shooters, ensuring that images captured were on-brand and usable by the marketing team. Additionally, he captured content himself using Ray-Ban Meta glasses and his iPhone.
Asset Management & Social Media | High-Volume Photo Editing, Curation, and Design
The Challenge: Freelance photographers shot thousands of images from Hospitality areas at FIFA World Cup matches. Ennis and the team were asked to deliver finalized social carousels using the images hours later.
Ennis’ Solution: In real-time, he downloaded and batch renamed the photographers’ RAW files, made selects and formatted them for approval to FIFA, and carefully edited them to maximize quality and conform to FIFA’s rules. Then, he determined which approved shots would work with pre-approved concepts, then designed carousels like the example below. He invented new layout styles which the team adopted on future posts.
Social Media | Designing a High Volume of Match-Specific Assets
The Challenge: Create roughly 200 paid social assets with an elevated conversion-focused design that drives viewers to buy a hospitality package for a specific World Cup match. It must feature a headline, unique flags, country names, date, location, a CTA, and room for sales agents’ logos.
Ennis’ Solution: He created a modular design system oriented around a premium aesthetic, efficient execution, and performance. First, he created a layout with a hierarchy that informs viewers who is playing, and of the urgency required. Next, he utilized a library of city-specific background images he previously created and got approved by FIFA, and a Figma variable system for quickly implementing flags. He also ensured clear space for sales agents to input their own logos. This style outperformed others from FIFA Hospitality, and contributed to ROAS jumping 25x and revenue climbing 79%.
Social Media | Expanding the Brand: Designing to Maximize Variety and Relevance
The Challenge: Develop social media graphics that respond to briefs, current World Cup events, and business priorities. The posts must be creative and express the FIFA World Cup Hospitality brand in new ways.
Ennis’ Solution: He responded to a wide variety of situations with creative, appropriate responses. He designed a timely Instagram story highlighting the highest scorers of the World Cup, inspired by sports accounts. At a World Cup match, he shot an elevated Instagram story on his iPhone. To promote premium activations and partnerships, he designed organic posts inspired by editorial design. To build hype for the World Cup Final, he designed pixel-perfect frames for an Instagram Reel that recapped the tournament, in collaboration with a motion designer.
Social Media & Email | Launching New Products Through Fresh Designs
The Challenge: Generate key visuals for organic social media and email promoting the first drop of tickets available for the FIFA World Cup 2026 Final and Semi-Finals.
Ennis’ Solution: In collaboration with designer Hannah Munnelly, Ennis crafted an original email and Instagram post that leaned on emotion-rousing imagery and an inventive type lockup. He knew that the best way to sell tickets to the Final and Semi-Finals was not through imagery of the host city nor images of lounges or suites—he chose to remind viewers that this is the match where you will see unforgettable moments like the trophy being lifted.
Email | Defining the Visual Language of a Product Launch, Implementing Automated Workflows, and Refreshing Channel Aesthetics
The Challenge: Ennis led design of the email channel, and was asked to translate sometimes-incomplete briefs into pixel-perfect emails for 12+ languages, B2B, B2C, and sales agent audiences.
Ennis’ Solution: Ennis worked closely with marketing leads, creative and art directors, copywriters, and developers to design engaging, production-ready emails every day for more than one year. In that time, he defined the marketing visual language for new products like Suite Essentials Pack, developed innovative brand expressions which were adopted by other designers, engineered automated workflows that saved time and generated millions of dollars, and trained and directed marketing teammates in email design.
Packaging | Partnering with Vendors to Design Gift Box Graphics for VIPs and Influencers
The Challenge: Ennis was asked to design branded graphics for two 3D boxes with little visual precedent to work from, since the team hadn’t created any box graphics at that point. One box was to be opened on camera during a shoot with brand ambassadors, and contained branded merch that Ennis’ teammate Joey Henriquez designed. The other contained a FIFA soccer ball and was given to VIP clients and leads at a brand activation in Napa, CA.
Ennis’ Solution: Ennis successfully designed the boxes from handmade 3D prototype through to completion. He presented the concept to stakeholders, gaining approval on the design. He provided external partners with clear guidance on execution and art direction, ensuring a high level of craftsmanship.

Information Design | Creating Informative One Sheets Across Multiple Products and Software
The Challenge: Create a system of one-sheet documents for sales professionals that explains various Hospitality products. Use the original FIFA Hospitality color system consisting of three color families. Ensure hierarchy, legibility, and explore capabilities of brand typeface. Recreate documents in Powerpoint and Keynote software.
Ennis’ Solution: In collaboration with marketing leads, project managers, and copywriters, Ennis created highly informative documents utilized by sales professionals to reach $2.3 billion in revenue. As information about product offerings evolved, he updated documents—ensuring that the premium aesthetic and design goals were achieved.
Experiential Design | Scaling Conversion-Focused Environmental Graphics
Ennis executed the design of a large campaign by scaling premium creative across multiple LED boards for each FIFA World Cup 2026 stadium. He ensured every spec kept the same look and feel and felt anchored to brand guidelines despite great variety in screen formats. These experiential branded moments spoke exclusively to World Cup fans and contributed to an increase in revenue during the tournament.
